Soto is certainly an anxious/pressing hitter right now putting himself in a weakened bad position to drive pitches especially on the outer-half. He’ll get out of it, but it’s not going to happen overnight.
Kevin Long needs to get him back to thinking, “drive the ball towards left-centerfield”. That would help with keeping him closed off just enough to drive the baseball again. If not, the slump continues.
Guess that feeling I had of winning this game came from indigestion brought on by an anchovy pizza and six pack I had for lunch.
