I think we should get the band back together. The following are all free agents we could sign. Sign them all:

Catcher - Yan Gomes, Wilson Ramos, Kurt Suzuki, Sandy Leon

First Base - Ryan Zimmerman

2nd Baseman - Josh Harrison

3rd Baseman - Asdrubal Cabrera

Shortstop -  Starlin Castro

Left - Kyle Schwarber

Center - Ian Desmond

Right - Steven Souza, Adam Eaton

Starter - Max Scherzer, Tommy Milone, Tanner Roark

Reliever - Craig Stammen, Brad Hand, Tyler Clippard, Daniel Hudson, Greg Holland, Hunter Strickland, Sean Doolittle, Ross Detwiler. Brandon Kintzler, etc

Strange article title when you look at the content. Turner and Scherzer and Schwarber and Lester all performed well.

He’s arguing that the didn’t bring titles. And Trea was bad in the playoffs

Did we expect all of them to bring titles?  Seems kind of hard.  I mean the Dodgers and Red Sox both made the Championship round. The Cards made the playoffs which was unexpected.

Yeah, even Lester turned out to be productive, which was quite the shock

Given how much the Dodgers spent, in both money and prospects, not at least making the WS seems underwhelming.

You made the point in another thread that their injuries were hard to overcome. Don’t lose that point now. They beat the Cards who were red hot and then a team that won 107 games.

They spent a freak ton of money, traded away two top 100 prospects, and won 100+ games. Anything less than the WS was a disappointment. Especially coming off a championship in 2020.

Yea the injuries and Bauer situation lend some leeway, but there is simply no way the fans, players, and most importantly, management can look at this season without substantial disappointment.

Injuries are always disappointing.

I think he pitched 50 more innings than Burnes.

I would have understood Buelher.  Over 200 innings and better ERA.

A guy in former NATS system wins AL Cy. Had stunk it up at times in the past but not this year.

Strasburg stinking it up has taken pressure off Rendon. If he doesn’t have a big season, that contract will be very hard to live up to.

If you think Rendon feels any pressure at all you must not have watched him in DC.
