Chief - it was definitely worth a chuckle.  But some of us have been warned about politically expanding on topics outside of the politics threads.  And it's easy to do.

Nobody liked my attempt at bi-partisan political humor?  C'MON MAN! :P

If I'm breaking my own rule you can safely assume that I won't punish anyone who responds in kind in the same thread.  I can understand not wanting to derail a legitimate conversation though ;)

but they are similar in some ways. They often seem to spend their waking hours looking for sex with 17 year olds.

That's it.  I'm pulling out of the bi-partisan mockery deal :nono: :mg:

We're in field mice country here, they prefer auto wiring from what I can tell, but who could pass up a fat cicada?

The squirrels seem to just eat out the meaty abdominal part, leave the wings, legs, head etc for mulch.

We had a couple of vehicles utterly destroyed by rats.  Now that we no longer have a car, we rent our off-street parking space to a local business whose employees park some very expensive cars back there...better them than me.  I certainly wouldn't want to see rats running up into the guts of my Huracan.

I posted about that in the backyard critters. I got bit up by these bastards last week. Think chigger bites with large welts.

This is why I don’t participate in nature.

I've gotten a few itchy red welts, all of them have shown up within 12 or so hours of me spending a significant amount of time outside. However a lot of them are in places that would have been covered by my shirt when I was outside, so I'm not sure I can blame our new oak mite friends. Still, suspicious timing.

They crawl. Mine were largely in places I’d rather not share, plus back and legs.

Wow, that explains a lot.  My son even made a trip to the doc because his bites were swelling up quite a bit.  Wife and I, just itchy bites.

a few are in the vicinity of other bites. 3 across my chest, 2 or 3 on my upper arm.  I'd say my bicep, but that would be kind of hard to locate.  :)
