I'm a long-time Baltimore detractor but ... Angelos had Jon Miller and Gary Thorne doing O's games -- two well-respected broadcasters at a level the Nats have not yet even sniffed.
Well, due respect to Carp, but if you want a legacy of broadcasting, try the Pawtucket Red Sox.

Gary Cohen (mets), Don Orsillo (padres), Dave Jageler, Andy Freed (rays), Dave Flemming (Giants), Glenn Geffner (Marlins),  Aaron Goldsmith (Mariners), Jeff Levering (Brewers), Mike Monaco (who started in 2020 with the Red Sox) plus the announcers for the Bengals, Patriots, OKC Thunder, Wild, and Bruins.  With that record, MASN should just hire either Will Fleming or Josh Maurer.

I personally think Bo Porter would be great on color, but the team at MASN doesn't think so or he'd be on it.

JMax is probably getting paid peanuts. Bo would require fair compensation.

I thought it was weird last night when he said that Trout getting hurt might have been Karma for DFAing Pujols.

Porter got a job as soon as MASN laid him off. He works for MLB.

I missed that. Good for him. His performance in Houston wasn’t that bad. Kind of weird his career turned out.

I listened to Grant and Danny chat with Sean Doolittle the other day. Whenever his playing days are over, I think he’d be terrific in this role if he wants it. I think he’d be really well received, too.

Agree. He’s intelligent and loves the game.
