History made today, in the AFL, when Collingwood legend Scott 'Pendles' Pendlebury played his 433rd game, setting a new all-time games played record. An incredible achievement - everyone thought Brent Harvey's previous record (432) would never be broken, given the nature of the modern game. What makes it more special is that 'Pendles' has consistently played at the highest quality - he is still Collingwood's most influential player, both on and off the park. He wants to play-on, next season, so 450 is within sight. This time it is difficult to see 'Pendle's' record being even approached, let alone broken.
