I failed to post this at the start of the game but I don't see how davey could have let Perez start over Hernandez with the justification that he wanted a righty over a lefty in the line up. I hope that this was Perez last shot at sticking when Soto returns and Hernandez stays.

small sample size for Yadiel (just 11 PAs) but vs LHP he's .200 / .273 / .600 versus Perez - .266 / .289 / .434
