Park Entry Question

Question.  I’m traveling from the Bay Area, CA and would like to attend a game next week.  How strict are they with size of purse.  Mine is about an inch over the 5x7” size limit.  Will I be denied entry to the park because my purse is an inch too big?  Please clarify for me.  Thanks.

I think it depends on how much of a mall cop the particular security “professional” wants to be at the gate you have to use. I would say that you should be ok, but plan on having a wallet to hold your essentials should you be forced to stow your gear in the “pay by the hour” lockers. Look into "BinBox" for that option should the situation present itself. That's who the Nats contracted out to handle the storage of bags once they enacted their overly restrictive bag policy in 2019 and they just ramped it up for this season.

If you want to really get sporty, you can always invest in a thin fabric drawstring style bag that you can fold up in a pocket and then deploy it once you get past security and carry your crap in comfort. I like breaking the rules so that's what I do.
