Those Braves’ 90s team should be put up as exhibit A of it being hard to win a World Series. 3 hall of fame pitchers in your rotation plus another one in the field. And still another player who probably should be in, and they still only won one championship.

The Marlins are then Exhibit Z of how easy it is.

So I am about to reach the end of my second week on my 7 day free trial of MLB tv.  Wonder when they will catch up with me?  Probably end of April.

PM sent, your baseball sugar daddy’s got you. :hysterical:

Easy come / easy go?

My meory of '90s baseball is the Blue Jays beating the Braves, and then 1996, when the Yankees crushed the soul of Atlanta. And then 1999, when the Yankees swept the Braves.

So, the 9th goes to Rainey, or the lowest lev reliever that hasn't pitched recently.

If Bell were half the ballplayer that he is a human being, he'd be making a ton more bucks.  I root for him, even if it is looking futile

I was hoping for Perez.

They thought his name was too close to Danny so they cut him.
