Five innings is a bit too much for Fedde.

Season most likely.  Kermitted by DeGrom in every conceivable way.

I haven't heard Darling. Seems like only Gary C. and Keith H. They praised Fedde until he flopped, although they warned that DeGrom can hit. Seemed like Fedde put a belt-high middling pitch to DeGrom. Struck me that Fedde had been a bit wild that inning.

the hbp broke up his rhythm and the long McNeil at bat I think started to make for too many stressful pitches.

How does deGrom throw harder now, at 33, than he did a few years ago?

He converted to pitching late, and I've heard folks say that some of it is refining his motion and conditioning for pitching. he also didn't waste too many bullets young, so his age curve is  skewed late

Honestly, not too upset with Fedde giving you 5 innings of three run ball

Except in golf the ball doesn’t move. Golfers are not real athletes.

Yes, I knew I've seen this before. When I was watching Pedro in 1998-2001.  But Pedro was not 100+ consistently. Had more secondaries.

Dutch people don't even hit adolescence until their late 20s
