That's three innings for Fedde. Jusrt watching DeGrom throw 100 mph fastballs makes every no-score Fedde inning feel like a small victory.

good question. Dougherty I think said he was going to go 80 pitches last Tuesday (4/20) at Fredericksburg, and if he recovered OK, he might be back as soon as this weekend. But I have not heard anything about whether he did and how he felt afterwards. Sounds like not this weekend. Maybe vs. Toronto? There's no need for a 5th starter until sometime in May, so they may take some time.

Thing is, he was great when his fastball averaged 93-95. How long could he sustain this? I mean, could he be a viable ace after next season, when he can opt out?
