Max has four flyball outs for every groundball out. Let us hope the wind is not a problem.

 :phew:

I wish Max wouldn't have to make things interesting all the time.

Offense needs to get to work today.

This offense has been a source of much profanity in the NN household this season.

that will be immortalized as one of the worst relay plays ever.  Not only the groundball throw from right, but the SS's spin and toss halfway up the 3d base line.

nice working a walk by Robles.  He deserves a bit of credit for improving his plate discipline.  No power, but his OBP is up to .362.  he's been on 10 times by singles and 11 times by walks and HBPs

I'm amazed at how often Trea hits into double plays for a fast guy.

You have to believe the hits will come if the discipline continues

New Poll in the batting order thread in honor of Starlin Castro and plate discipline.

I'll tell you what...this team can pitch. And I for one think the offense will kick it up a notch once we hit mid-May.

Ouch! Assumed the game would start at 7pm. Saw the zeros, saw Hand pitching, had to think hard to see that it was not last night.

Leadoff walk...grumble.
