The Corbin signing was worth it for the Championship but damn I’m getting nervous we will spend a few years desperate for that contract to run out.

I thought he’d be the ace or at worst top #2 to transition us from Scherzer. Now I just hope he turns into a back of rotation inning error.

This time in 2019 I would have said to stop the nagging. But it worked then. So please continue. We ain’t at .01% odds yet.

This

Who knows, maybe he'll have a decent first half of a season at some point and become tradeable.

Nats sold their soul and future for a ring in 2019. They’re going to be left with Soto and nobody else.

And that was a come from behind walk-off, we could very well be winless.

I don’t know how you let both Rendon and Harper walk. At some point, you have to pony up and pay for offense. Not just pitching.

Let them walk for free.  Hope they don't make the same mistake a third time with Max, but they probably will.

We have 2 big bats that still haven’t made their debut because of COVID precautions as well as Lester.

Hard to make such a statement imo. But you made very similar all the way to their World Series win last time

Youre hoping Lester gives you a sub 5 ERA.

Neither Schwarber nor Bell should be considered "big" bats

Davey at this point is approaching this like a spring training game for Corbin.  After the game, he's going to say something like, "Well, except for that tough inning, which he almost got out of, he settled down and looked good. I pushed him a little bit and he tired against Seager and Turner, but their good hitters."

Which would be fine if Corbin didnt look terrible in the playoffs and abymsal last season
