he was crushing the ball but just not elevating it.  He was able to elevate it in the spring, so I really think he's pretty locked in and the extra base hits will come.

Not really.  In the modern NFL, when you hold them to 14, you should win.  Managing only a field goal is pathetic.  Rivera ran Smith out of town, and now it looks like we'll be looking at another few games of Heinecke again.
