Not that concerned about the offense with the other bats coming back soon. Defense, perhaps. Also, we don't have Buehler and Kershaw on the upcoming schedule, that'll help, too.
Fedde pitching tonight. That should go well.

he was crushing the ball but just not elevating it.  He was able to elevate it in the spring, so I really think he's pretty locked in and the extra base hits will come.
Someone should tell him about launch angle.

There is no way you take Zimmy out of the lineup.   Have to find Bell another position

Uh, like what?  He's a leadfooted stone hands at 1B.

He can play 1st base and pinch hitter.

Nationals could put him in corner outfield, but I don't want to re-do the Adam Dunn and Michael Morse experiment. We know how that ends.

I said they'd be back tonight.  Not that they'd help tonight.  Baby steps.

A good thread would be an "Time for me to eat crow" where  we self nominate our most incorrect post.  I'm sure I've got some "be patient with Kieboom" or "Giolito is toast" posts.

This game was not an offense problem.

Not really.  In the modern NFL, when you hold them to 14, you should win.  Managing only a field goal is pathetic.  Rivera ran Smith out of town, and now it looks like we'll be looking at another few games of Heinecke again.
