they haven't announced anyone yet. I don't know if the rules allow for bringing up people who aren't on the 40-man, but we don't have any OF's left to call up on the 40-man who aren't already here. Garcia might be the prime candidate since Harrison can play the OF if needed and he gives us another LHB

I suspect Kieboom or Garcia.  Sanchez is hitting a bit better than both and is a more natural bench fill in, but he's off the 40 man.

They could be trying to help their AA team not suck crap through a straw.  That roster has no legitimate prospects anywhere and is expectedly stinking up the joint.  If you want to keep your affiliates happy, you have to do something to make it interesting.  And as a resident of a AA city, the second option behind actual prospects is MLB burnouts who will likely tear up AA.   If you have neither of those, you better hope you have good weather and cheap beer.

Minor league baseball is a blast for a couple games, but it gets boring fast if the product is crap and the team is getting their ass kicked. I spent a few years in a city with a AA affiliate of a team with a terrible farm system. It's kind of lame when you realize none of the guys on the field will never amount to anything. And minor league baseball is accessible, but not so cheap I'll go to more than a few games just to go.
