Patrick Corbin flew to Los Angeles today and he's been cleared through coronavirus protocols. He will throw on flat ground today and work out at Dodger Stadium.

along with Garcia, Clay, McGowin, and Yadiel, it looks like.  So, Garcia and Mercer are the backup infielders, along with maybe Lucroy as a backup 1st baseman, and just one backup OF plus whoever sits among Gomes and Avila.  4 OFs, 7 IFs counting Lucroy, and 2 catchers.  8 man bullpen (Hand, Hudson, Rainey, Suero, Finegan, Clay, McGowin, Avilan).

gonna guess that, if he clears waivers and takes an assignment, he'll get a call up at some point.  I don't think he'll clear waivers the way he's been playing.  I'm guessing Tampa Bay claims him, for one.

Service time is calculated by days not games played. Lucroy started the season 8 days shy of ten years, I believe he’ll hit ten years tomorrow

Gonna guess that Espino is sent down and another bullpen arm is called up.  Voth should get the next start for Stras. That said, it sounds like Davey anticipates Espino getting another shot.

5-4, 2.69 ERA, 63 2/3 innings at Harrisburg in 2019.  I didn't even bother making a FTP thread for him.

To make room for Harris and Soto, who were activated today, Nats sent Kyle McGowin to Rochester and DFA'd Hernan Perez.  Yadiel & Espino remain on roster.

TBH, I like DFA'ng Perez.  Mercer looks good as a back up, both Kieboom and Garcia can provide depth at MI and 3d base if there's a need, and Davey just has to get Yadi and RZ plate appearances.  Espino I guess survives until either Suero or Strasburg is back.
