The Josh Bell discussion made me think about the Giants signing Darin Ruf last year out of the KBO. Has put up some awesome stats. Found more in Korea than Kim chi apparently.

While making $1.275 million.

I heard on the radio that today is the first day the Dodgers have not been favored in a game since they faced Max in the 2019 playoffs.

We should have traded for him.

Soto, Robles, Turner and Cavelli might get it done. :)

The Baltimore Orioles score 27 runs to sweep the Houston Astros in Houston. Yes, the Orioles. The coming-into-that-series 30-games-below-.500 Orioles.  I imagine Dusty is having a :wtf: moment.

Hey JCA, who's this herky-jerky lefty MF Hernandez who falls off to one side and yells at everyone when he walks a guy on a pitch that missed by 4 inches?

Darwinzon Hernandez.  System product. 2d year up in the majors.  Nice stuff. 7th inning guy in front of Ottavino and Barnes.

Tonight's Yankees-Red Sox game postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the Yankees organization.  The Athletic says six players have tested positive, all are OK.  The Yankees are past the 85% vaccination rate.

This says most of them are vaccinated.  Probably J&J but you never know.  The other vaccines are not 100% and certainly not against this Delat variant.

Play the game.  If they are ok, and the Yankees are past 85%, why are they even being tested?  Especially the vaccinated players.

Lance Lynn signs a two-year $38 million extension with the white Sox. I really wish we had signed him a few years ago.
