As I recall, Pete Rose was asked what record he thought would be unbreakable, and rather than citing an offensive record like one of his own, he cited Johnny Vander Meer's two consecutive no-hitters in 1938. No pitcher since has managed to match that feat, much less been in a position to pitch a third consecutive no-hitter to break the record.

I can imagine at some point there could be a pitcher so dominant that he could throw three no hitters in a row. I can’t imagine someone will come up in an inning for the third time with the bases loaded after already having hit two grand slams. Too many factors out of players control.

Also, there is zero chance I would pitch to this person.
