Probably not much opportunity for him there, really.  The Reds have a rookie 2B who's doing pretty well.

Future hall of famer :). We should have grabbed him when he was cut earlier this spring.

Giolito got pounded for 6 runs in the first.  Happy Patriot's day.

I feel like going 26.2 miles, but I'll do it in a car (or on a bike if I am ambitious and don't mind the rain risk).

I just finished binge watching Turn.  Lots of Patriots there and watching was like a marathon.  So that should suffice.

Michael A. Taylor's defensive fWAR (2.7) is the best in baseball.

Doubt he could have done this here though. He seems like the kind of guy that needs his team's confidence.

I think that is defensive runs saved, not fWAR.  His total WAR (sounds like a TV series on WWII) is 0.6, based on 5.7 runs above average - 2.7 from D, 1.9 from playing every day, and 1.0 from his offense.  But yes, that's the best of any non-catcher.

Trea, by the way, is 2.0, 4th among SS.

Dane Dunning and Adam Eaton are facing each other today.

First AB ended with Dunning striking out Eaton looking.

Second AB, Eaton hits a ground rule double that brings in two runs.

Lucas Giolito and Wilson Ramos face off tonight. Giolito has gotten him out twice so far.

Wilson Ramos doubles off Giolito in his third time up, tying the game and driving Giolito from the game.

triumphs when matched up with some guy deGrom.  Some nice relief from Matt Barnes, among others.  Barnes is having a monster year and will be an FA next year. 16 K/9 and his walks are the lowest of his career (<2 per 9).

Have any of the players previously on the Colorado 26-man gone missing, presumed eaten?

wouldn't you love to see Adams hitting a ball into a gap at Coors and having the outfielders slow to get there?  I mean, the thought of Adams trying for a triple in that thin air.

I would indeed absolutely love to see that.  No sarcasm, it might be worth the price of the annual MLB.tv subscription.
