Thanks for the reminder about his endearing grammatically incorrect omission of a necessary comma, he knew about it but opted to leave it as is out of obstinance.

Very sad news.  Just who is going to ask us if we are dense now?  We didn't always see eye to eye but I've got a lot of fond DCFan memories.  I'll wager a lot of people here are richer for having known him.

i sparred with him a lot on the politics board, but he was always friendly and good natured. I always hoped to be able to meet him in person and share a beer with him. He just seemed like a really really nice guy.
