Elgin Baylor, Lakers standout, 86, natural causes.
A legend.
IIRC, Baylor was short for such an awesome forward. 6' 3"? (can check)Sach Sanders always used to cover him for the Celts. I remember a story that there was a game where Baylor went for 60 against Sach, and everyone said that it actually was a good defensive game for him.
Kent Taylor, 65, founder and CEO of Texas Roadhouse, suicide due to post-covid problems specifically severe tinnitus.
Hated this guy. He and his brothers and Noel Picard begat the Broad Street Bullies. RIP. Crappy way to go even at 78.https://www.kmov.com/news/sources-blues-legend-bobby-plager-dead-in-car-accident-on-interstate-64/article_12d6bd1a-8cd4-11eb-b4f2-2f4048beba25.html
IIRC, it was one of the Plager brothers (Barclay?) that tripped Bobby Orr on his flying, game winning, series clinching goal back in the 1970 Stanley Cup. {edit - it was Noel Picard. Bobby Plager had a cheap trip in game 2, as shown in the linked article from PWC]
Noel Picard I think.
yes

As amazing as modern healthcare can be at its best, its stunning to me that such a tiny, weird thing can seemingly render the best doctors helpless.Sad story, he seemed like a decent guy who did his best to treat his employees fairly.
To seek relief that way I can picture a guy holding his hands to sides of his head screaming in agony.
G. Gordon Liddy, 90
Around 20 years ago I used to listen to him on my lunchbreaks when he was on WJFK. This was during the golden age of the "Hot Talk" format, when they had Howard Stern on in the mornings and Don and Mike during the evening drive. He was completely batcrap crazy, and I rarely agreed with what he said, but he was endlessly entertaining.
