Stephen Strasburg will have surgery for neurogenic thoracic outlet surgery, Davey Martinez reveals. Nationals will hope he's ready to return next season.

Or, you know, his career.

Thoracic Outlet?  I think WJ73 mentioned that it can be a  nerve squeeze as well as vessels like Harris has.

I think I stayed in a holiday in that night.

Looks like we may not have Victor Robles ABs to kick around for a few weeks.

What happened?

Hurt himself on a swing and a miss.

Looks like a hip or oblique or that general area.

Tanner Rainey blew a save last night for Rochester. Replaced by Aaron Barrett, who earned the win on a walk-off hit by Lane Thomas. I'm beginning to like Thomas, who was 2-for-5.

Well let him rest as long as he needs to, not like we're ever going to win a game ever again this season :(

On a FB group that I administer, some guy just posted a long complaint that pitchers should all go nine innings, but, etc etc, they are over-paid and don't have the guts to pitch through pain. Get's tiresome, doesn't it?

Definitely.  Athletes should always be willing to hurt themselves for the benefit of the owners and fans.  Whatever it takes to keep us happy.

The fate of the entire season rests on Schwarber's hamstring.  Sad state of affairs.

Oooooooof. I admit these past few weeks have been awful to watch, and it's basically hope the kids produce, but this is getting unbearable.
