Stephen Strasburg told us tonight that he "ruptured" a tendon in his left calf and was told by doctors that he doesn't need it or doesn't have to get it repaired. He said the discomfort was gone in three to five days and he didn't feel anything tonight.

Oh, youre wtf right now? It gets better

When asked if he was scared by the "ruptured," Stephen Strasburg said the doctor told him he'd need it if we still walked on all fours. But since we are now upright walkers — a sort of new thing, if you think about — he can get by without the tendon and doesn't foresee issues.

Starlin Castro was originally going to play 3B again tonight, but the Nationals are holding him out as a precaution after his hamstring cramped yesterday. Davey Martinez says he'll be getting an MRI "just to make sure."

he's lucky he's not on the Philiies. Bunch of knuckle-dragging, hunched over types, so he'd probably need the tendon.

Casteo diagnosed with a "mild hamstring strain"
:rites:

It's so unfortunate because he had a chance at 3000 hits, and now he's doomed

“Calf tightness” for Soto

MLB has six weeks of spring training so guys don’t get injuries like calf tightness. But they do anyway. Well I guess it’s just six weeks so they can overcharge folks in Florida for priactice games.

Gonna need to compensate with more crotch grab

Risks a strained groin if he overcompensates for the calf.

so after Davey said that Harris had a blood clot removed, Zuck tweets that there is no blood clot, and no thoracic outlet syndrome, but he has numbness in his fingers.

By the end of the night, a somewhat clearer picture of a complicated situation had been painted. Martinez said Thompson performed a venogram (an X-ray test in which contrast dye is injected into a vein to show if blood is flowing properly) on Harris and came to the conclusion the right-hander had neither a blood clot nor the more serious thoracic outlet syndrome.

Harris will now travel to Washington to meet with team doctor Robin West, after which the club will decide whether he can rejoin the club in Florida for the final days of spring training or remain in town to meet them when they arrive Monday night in advance of the season opener.

"Hopefully now when he sees Dr. West and he gets diagnosed again, we can move forward and we can get him back as soon as possible," Martinez said.

So now we wait to see where they go from here.
I have blisters on my fingers.  Helter Skelter!
