they were jammed, I'm sure, but they really kind of pushed out the ticket offers for this kind of with minimal notice.  Last night they said today I could have cashed in bonus games from my renewal for April, after yesterday's sale announced the Sunday night.  How the heck could I coordinate with my group?  :smh:

May looks like when much of my group will start wanting tickets. Everyone wanted their jabs first.

I am annoyed. 5 pm today, I get an email from the Nats that my opportunity to pick up games for 5/1-13 starts at 10 am  Monday. My group is an office group. I will email my group with non work addresses I have, but unless I reach folks Sunday, more or less I miss the chance to let my group know they can pick up tickets. I know, first world problem, but my group has shelled out for tickets for years, and I can't believe they didn't know about this sale yesterday afternoon when folks who have office groups could have planned for their ticket sale.

It's one of my biggest pet peeves about the Nats.  They give you far too little notice for things like this.

I wonder if they will have enough May tickets to sell to the unwashed masses?

After several years of online friendship and no real ability to grab a game together and meet in person, I am happy to announce that with today’s sale for SPHs, I was able to snag tickets for TerpFan76 and I and our respective lady friends! Woot Woot!

I might be interested in a pair of tickets for the May 6 -4pm game if anyone will have 2 for sale.

They look sold out on my end for that game, but if any other game blows your skirt up, let me know.

We can always talk when they release the tickets for 14-End of May.

Thanks but I will only be in town that week.  I’m hoping they will release some seats later on.

that's what they did on the second sale when the park went up to 10000. Just judging off my group, there may be light demand and seats available

I received a notice from the Nats about tickets for these April games because I am probably still on one of their lists.  Only the expensive seats behind home plate were available.

The Capitals gave me a 15 minute head start...the email came in at 10:15 for a 10:30 presale today.  Not that I want to go to the Covid-19 Arena anytime soon...

Looks like we'll be in DC visiting some family for the homestead with Cincinnati and Milwaukee. Not sure yet if we'll be able to make it to a game, but I'm hoping this will be the year I finally get to see a game at Nats Park.

in the realm of no good deed going  unpunished, I tried to send out an email yesterday morning to my ticket group to get in requests about games for 2d half of May, but I had a conference call coming up and saved the email as a draft 7 minutes before the call started.  Needless to say, I did not realize I never sent it until I got a call today from one of my group members as I was setting up the GDT.  HE was amking a ticket request but had not received my email.  I logged back into the work computer to see the draft email in the draft, unsent folder.  I immediately sent it, then realized it was incomplete.  By the time I got back to the GDT, it was after 1 and the game was about to start.  At least Dave in Fairfax had a thread started in time.

Ugh, I'm getting ready to do my draft with my partners tomorrow and it's been a monster pain to figure out how many games people have left to draft vs what games they should have been credited for through May 13th.  I really should have done my draft before the season started to avoid this logistical nightmare.  But I think I have that all worked out now.

There's just one thing I'd like to confirm with you guys.  I know the April 4th game was rescheduled for 9/4 as the first game of a split double-header and it will be a 7 inning game.  Can I assume that the second (regularly scheduled) game on 9/4 will also be a 7-inning game?  I'm pretty sure that's the case, but it will suck for the person who drafts that game since they won't be getting a full game.

Also, has anyone heard when the games for the second half of May will go up for sale?  The Nats have already credited my "ticket bank" for these games, but I haven't received any notice of an online sale.

Looks like they'll be able to go up to 50% on May 21.
