Our long nightmare is over. Not much of a return for the 34th ranked QB. Third round pick this year and a 2022 second round pick that could move up to round one.  Apparently he wanted no part of Chicago so they backed off.

He’s not tough enough to play outdoors.

One of the rumors was that Foles would come back to Philly as part of the trade.  He could not handle being on the team again withe Foles.

Hate to say anything nice about a Patriot but Edelman is a class act.

Actually, Josh Bell has become very good about fighting anti-semitism since the tree of life synagogue shooting. Lots of veryactive athletes in Pittsburgh on this.

https://www.mlb.com/news/josh-bell-joins-athletes-against-antisemitism-panel

Quote
On Wednesday evening, Bell participated in the “Athletes Against Antisemitism” virtual event, organized by Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Zach Banner. Speaking in the athlete portion of the panel, Bell was joined by Washington Mystics forward Alysha Clark. Bell spoke about experiencing racism as a child, and how he was impacted by the 2018 shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh.

Banner is pretty outspoken about this too.

hmmm. $14MM 1 year to Newton?  I would have thought you could have signed Alex Smith for that and been better off, but Newton had off the chart respect within the organization.  Now if he only could hit a receiver with a pass.  Of course, that assumes there are receivers on the field when you do pass.  Hitting Troy Brown when he's on the sideline or in the stands doesn't count, even if he still would be an upgrade over N'Keal Henry.

I did, we also got the TE from the Titans and a NT from Miami that seem pretty decent. Glad to see players still want to come play here at least

Deshaun Watson seems to be in a bunch of trouble. Third lawsuit filed and more maybe on the way. I mean why not just hire an actual prostitute if he wanted sex with strange women?

It looks like Houston should have traded Watson. 7 sexual misconduct lawsuits now filed against him.

Who did Watson think he was? Robert Kraft?
