And too late to change my weekly NFL contest pick.  It’s always about ME.

meh, my major take away from last night is that I'm confident in my WFT under pick

After 40 years with the Chiefs, I can't forgive him for last season...he only got away with it because Mahomes was injured. ;)

Anyway, with the new season we again begin that titantic struggle - over the years, I 've done everything to convince my kitty that ours is a Chiefs household. Alas, to no avail - he shows no interest at all...until the Titans coverage begins. Then he sits there, transfixed - whiskers twitching everytime he hears the words 'touchdown Titans!'. Once the Titans go off, so does he. I never tire of reminding him about 2019's AFC Championship... :D
 I have a dog named Brady who last year changed his name to Newton and is now begging me to change his name to Jonesy but I mean, I don't take orders from a dog. Not all the time anyway :mg:

We heard you were going to cut Newton for a younger dog.  Ice cold. Just like Bellicheck.

No that's his brother from another mother, Bryant, who is an Alabama fan and most definitely will not be changing his name ;)

Brian Bulaga is now a Charger.  This guy leads a charmed life...he was garbage in Green Bay his entire career and now he gets another chance to be garbage in a much nicer climate at the age of 32.

Some guys have all the luck...

Think I saw something I never saw before. Eagles defensive lineman called for two defensive holding calls on running plays in the first quarter. They didn’t show replay of the first one. Second one didn’t see any penalty. Weird.

Lots of penalties in that game first half. I think 15 between the two teams.

On that turf, the Eagles in those green uniforms remind me of the ghost critters in Pac Man...

I would like to see them go back to the Kelly Green uniforms they wore in the 80s.

Eagles DT Ridgeway who had two holding penalties in the first quarter gets three sacks in the fourth quarter.

26 penalties so far in the game so far. Ugly.

Meowser was watching in the other room - I guessed, from all the meowing, that the Titans must be getting stuffed.... ;)

Agree that the current shade of green is bad.  Not an Iggles fan, but I think their best uniforms were from the late '70s - early '80s, Jaworski era.

The Eagles have an Australian rules guy as punter.  Siposs.  Know he is not the first but did great today in his debut.  And to boot they have an Australian rugby player as their left tackle.  A mountain of a man and big even for a Samoan.  Never played football before he was drafted.  And now he is cashing in.  I know I can count on you to support the Philadelphia Eagles this year.

They switched to the midnight green in 1996 but occasionally have worn the old kelly green.  Not recently though.  I prefer the black jerseys they sometimes wear to the current green

I guess the video is blocked.  The NFL are such bastards.  Hey Goodell, I watched the Eagles game today on the internet for free.  So there.
