Schedules are being revised.  Nats will be in a bubble with the other east coast florida teams and play 24 games.

Meaning they will not travel at all to the west coast of Florida. I don’t think all the details are available yet.

Yeah, sounds like the ones on the east coast cluster with the Nats will all play games amongst each other and mix in some intrasquad “games“ as well. They should have a good hard look at the Mets and Marlins before the season.

Traffic would be a nightmare what with the seniors hitting the early bird specials and the youngsters heading to the park.  :oldy:

New schedule is out. Nats will play 24 games in 30 days against their neighbors. No split squad games.

Dougherty had a nice article on roster spots. Basically, 4 TBD- 5th starter, 2 bullpen slots, 1 bench slot
Loser of 5th starter in line for long man in pen.  Voth a potential dfa if he's not starting ahead of Ross. Fedde has an option. Other bullpen slot has Baucus, Clay, McGowin, and one other guy on 40 man, plus 3 NRIs- Guerra, McFart, and Avilan. McFart, Avilan, and Clay are LHP. For bench, he lists Garcia and Antuna but then says they are minors destined. Also there Noll. An NRI like Mercer or Adrian Sanchez, Parra, Perez or Yasmani Tomas could grab that spot if they free up a roster slot with a release or a trade

Coach is talking about moving turner down in the order. He would make for one heck of a three hitter. But.......who hits one and two? Apparently Robles has hit over 300 from the lead off spot in the big leagues so hope springs eternal. Castro would not seem a terrible two hole hitter.

Zuck says that Davey wants to bat Robles in the lead-off spot against LHP, but there really aren't any other decent candidates for taking over the top spot in the lineup. I think you hope that Soto/Schwarber/Bell can worry about driving in runs and let Turner keep focusing on getting on base.

He is the best lead off hitter in the game. Would he be the best whatever if you moved him down?

Does anyone know if you can listen to the games on WTEM.com or do they blackout Nats games forcing you to go to nationals.com?

Don’t be so cheap and just buy the MLB At Bat app. I believe it’s $24.99.

I think you have to pay for at-bat to listen out of your area.
