Get an actual 3B and I kind of like this team.

My favorite stat? He was 16 for 16 in saves last year.

A source tells me the Mets offer was financially stronger than the Nats offer but Hand's preference was to close and re-enter the free agent market next year

Isn't his stuff much worse than just 2 years ago? Nice price on him, though.

2018 his fastball averaged 94. 2020, it averaged 91.8

Strikeouts went down a bit. But he's maintained his control and doesnt give up home runs. His slider is still devestating. His important peripherals (K%, BB%, Hard Hit%, Barrel%) continue to be elite over the past two seasons with career bests in K%, BB% last season despite the velo falloff.

Yea, I dont understand this need to push Kieboom. He's had less than 50 games at the MLB level.

Yea, I dont understand this need to push Kieboom. He's had less than 50 games at the MLB level.

the concern over Kieboom is that he doesn't seem to be improving at all, and can't hit a curve ball.  Yeah, he's young, but you'd at least like to see some progression.  And, we're spoiled by Soto (and Garcia who already looks better than Kieboom).

Back to the topic though, we probably need another LHP, I still wonder if Doolittle gets some kind of low-end offer.
