Good night to watch women’s volleyball. April and Aliz are in the semifinals at 10:30. Then the women’s indoor team plays Serbia in the semis at midnight. Trying for their fourth straight gold medal match appearance. Not sure if their injured stats will be back?

Luka good get tiny Slovenia a gold.  Unreal
No. But maybe a bronze.  Dragic really killed them with a bad game.

The Australian shootout mulligan in the field hockey gold medal game vs Belgium was pretty strange.

I missed that but hope to catch a replay.  I saw one earlier in the tournament where one team couldn’t score on the OT penalties.

I love the corner penalties in regulation when they go and get additional protective equipment behind the goal.  Can’t think of anything similar in other sports.

That was pretty epic.  It goes to show that sometimes the best offense is to park the bus.

An American man has won an individual  gold medal in a running event in every Olympics the US has participated in. They have been shut out so far with only the 1500 left. :smh:

until we take over Kenya or elect a Kenyan Muslim President, that's not happening for the USA.

Did Meb win either Boston or NY one year when the Kenyans let him out of post 9 11 or post-Tsarnaev sympathy?

I guess I understand why your girls look up to them but you would think sometimes that from their attitude they have never lost an international competition. They seem to have lost more than they have won. In contrast the women’s basketball team NEVER loses and get little publicity.

My daughter and her friends have turned on Rapino/LLoyd/Morgan and want the team to skew younger. They all love Lavelle and Press- admittedly they are all very into women's soccer and probably out side of the norm

I'm not holding on to hope that she can actually win but it's nice to see American Molly Seidel running with the lead pack in the marathon. I'm pulling for her big time! :woop:
