I watched that match. It was a massacre. 
I've been watching something called the Madison (I think) for over 30 minutes and have no idea what's going on. 
It's pretty cool. It was originally contested in the old Madison Square Garden. It's more or less tag team racing. one racer takes the long pull up front while the teammate drafts, then they tag and throw the fast finisher forward to sprint. The Brits used to have a killer team with a guy who eventually won the TdF doing the pulling and the greatest sprinter of all time finishing things off.
