I wonder if she goes to NWSL or Europe, Macario looks like she'll be the next USWNT star and she chose Lyon instead of NWSL.

I guess I would assume they get a commitment before wasting a draft pick?

I'm sure they get something, but until a contract is signed she can change her mind. Most of the women on the national team are playing premiere league now, so it doesn't make much sense from a training/development standpoint to play NWSL anymore (My older daughter and her teammates followed the spirit pretty closely and went to a bunch of games, but most are adopting premier league teams now)
