Holliday is actually pretty good. And it's not like Carpernter doesn't make mistakes. They all make mistakes from time to time.

I think Holliday sucks but that might be because Carpenter is so good.  Holliday does a fine job doing the pre and post game shows though.

OK. I got it. Now, does it work automatically or do I need to set it. Sorry for filling the thread w/ this stuff, guys.

i turely think spienger is gonna make it as a starter.

cause i think he was thrown into a position he was not used to. for whats its worth, i think manny and the saint. saw something in him perhaps most of us here didnt. i really hope he is a diamond in the rough!

i think he just needed to get confidence and throw strikes.

ya know what about speigner, better late than never.

But beat peevey and smoltz twice, 3 of 4 from the braves, 2 of 3 from St. Louis, a sweep of the Marlins - besides - the Nats got hosed on a bad call at the plate in game 1 of the pittsburgh series ... there will be more disappointments for sure - but they are playing better baseball these days ...

I like your take on things wpa. I wish I could be a little more like that but I'm not

It's ok ... it's hard to be a Nats fan sometimes ... I get that ... there are more losses than wins at this point - but IMO that just makes the wins so much sweeter ... better days are coming ... for all of us ...

I disagree with the part about it being hard to be a Nats fan. I find it easy and fun to be a Nats fan in spite of their poor play (I've been a Redskins fan all my life so I've had practice .

Dude ... we have a lot in common ... a Washingtonian all my life - Wiz, Caps, Skins, Nats, and a proud Terp alum .. I've had my fair share of heartaches and celebrations myself ...

Basehits don't feel near as bad when you lead the inning off with two outs...
