They didn't deserve to win the way they played from he second period on.

Caps not only lost but cost me my three game NHL parlay. Kiss of death for me to bet on them. The lucky Backstrom T-shirt comes out Wednesday.

Caps have never swept a best-of-seven series. Why start now?

Didn’t expect a sweep but they needed that game last night.  Bruins just outskated and outworked them.

Guy slid into the goalie. They didn’t want to risk the challenge.
to me, it looked like McAvoy may have missed him, may have grazed him flying through the crease, but it was a Caps defender who came in on top of McAvoy who really plowed into Anderson.  I don't think a replay could have sorted out the amount of contact McAvoy had on Anderson because the big blow was quick after that and clearly by a Cap.  IF someone can  dig up a replay, I'd like to see it.

The sequence of sending 2 men off at a time in the 3rd period was really . . . weird.  I forget who on the Caps was called for a phantom retaliation penalty was the worst.

The Marchand stick-to-the-face on (who?) was the worst. The call on Wilson for "embellishing" was bad.

If Kuzy plays the next game and then gears up to how he played in the 2018 playoffs, then all if forgiven. Caps are desperate for a center, and especially one who can score.

Our top line has been invisible other than several of Ovi's hits.  Backy's passes aren't his crisp and timely...and Sprong may as well not be on the ice.

6:30 start.  Samsonov to start.  And Copley the backup. That’s weird.

They pointed out on the pregame how Charra and Jensen played very little in the third period last game. May said that was a mistake. Agree. Especially with Carlson looking still hurt.

Carlson and Orlov caught napping on that goal.

Horrible play by Samsonov. Bad couple of days for DC in Boston.

These freaking goalies need to stay in the crease.  Holtby always freaked this up, Sammy has been bad, and V used to be good about this but has fallen into this trap...
