That was the best goal by anyone since 2006  :D

Personally, I'd give that honor to this one:

I will remember that moment until the day I die, man. I could watch that goal every day.

I'll remember the Cup too very vividly but beating Pittsburgh was such a cathartic experience that took the weight of the world off my shoulders it felt like.

That Game 6 against TB was bonkers too.  I barely recall the game itself but I was so hopped up when we got home, apparently I would not shut up for like 72 hours.  Lightning didn't even show up for Game 7.

The Eller game winner against Columbus in OT in game 3 was memorable for me.  Without that it's a first round exit and the other memories don't exist.

Ovy scoring immediately in Game 7 told me we were a lock to win. That was the most relaxed Game 7 we've ever had.

On my fitbit my heart rate never went below 110 once overtime started. It said, "workout ended" when I went to bed eventually :lmao:

Devils -- the only video I can have in NYC -- seem to be sponsored only by three or four sports betting sites. During the game, there is a drop-down across the top of the screen: Bet now, here are the odds. Intermission is sponsored by non-sports betting, but Atlantic City casinos.

I guess betting and associated advertising are important this year.  And Samsonov is as rusty AF.

Devils intermission analyst just said, "Samsonov has not been very good". Their play-by-play analyst, Ken Daneyko, said of the first Devils goal, "Samsonov would probably like to have that one back.". Said the same after the second, adding, "The rust seems to be showing".

Missed period one.  So Boston only had 2 shots?  I guess they can only beat the Flyers.

So when are the Broons going to trade for Eichel?  McAvoy and who else in return?

An unbiased Canadian view of Wednesday's game, and, in particular, Trent Frederic's attempt to get at Ovie:

We need to crowdfund a Halak golden retirement fund.  Should have done so 12 years ago.
