So the Caps have a promo with the William Hill sportsbook where if you make a $50 bet in Virginia before Feb. 26 using a particular promo code, you get a $400 credit towards your season ticket account. I don’t know much about sports betting, so essentially I view it as throwing away $50 to net out a $350 credit. Surely there has to be a catch. It can’t be as simple as just betting $50 and they’ll give you $400, can it?
