Didn’t expect Rutgers to beat Clemson.

Perhaps in later rounds, but not toward the finals

ESPN says there were around 101k perfect brackets left out of 14.7 million after Oral Roberts beat OSU.

Who the heck would have picked OR???

Why? Those 7/10 and 8/9 games are crapshoots.

Rutgers hasn't won a game since the 1980's, and Clemson is well, Clemson.

Winthrop-Villanova was entertaining, the Eagles hung around until late but Villanova is a much better passing and shooting team.

I think Rutgers has not even been in it for thirty years; that will definitely keep you from winning a game.  When in high school we used to pick up the games of their final four team on NJPTV.  Eddie Jordan and Phil Sellers.  1976 I think.

Eastern Washington up 8 at half over Kansas.  I saw yesterday there were 7 upsets in the 16 games played.

Ended up with twenty right in round one. Have three of my final four teams alive. Ohio State was one I missed. Gonzaga (champ). Michigan. And Ok State.

ESPN said just one perfect bracket left as of last night. Of course it’s probably someone who can barely spell basketball who picked it.

Last perfect bracket was gone when Ohio beat UVA.

I actually hit a parlay with Abilene Christian, Ohio and UCLA. The first one I’ve ever hit.

Ehhhh, it’s disappointing but not heartbreaking. It’s a lot easier to take when your team recently won it all, and I wasn’t even all that surprised they lost after not being able to practice for the preceding week. We were watching the Caps game anyway.

My nephew was echoing the same sentiment - no practice that week and the complete ineffectiveness of Huff and Hauser. He was crushed. And with so many moving on from the program....... :hang:
