Still 3 games up on the Bulls and Raptors.  One and a half behind the Pacers.  Two and a half behind the Hornets.  Host the Pacers Monday.
getting to 8th is the big step forward.  Of course, dropping to 11th is the big :hang:

Yep.  7th or 8th you get two chances to win one.  11th and you set tee times.

Everyone eats.

My parlay of the Wizards and Warriors to win is looking good.

96 points in the paint.  Unbelievable to have 154 points and not that many threes (only 9).  Westbrick with 24 assist and 21 rebounds.  I don't care if he can shoot.  He has really energized the team.  Plays so hard the other guys are afraid to coast.

Pacers averaged about 146 points over their past two games and only won one.

Russ is now the first player in history to have multiple 20 assist, 20 rebound games breaking his tie with Wilt at one.

And he and the guy second in scoring are leading the team right out of the lottery and into the play in tournament. I wish we had real stars who could actually put a team into contention, but at least we’re entertaining

There are no guarantees in the lottery and some good players but no generational talents this year.

I don't know how anyone watching this team can think they aren't a threat in the playoffs. Over their last 15 games they are 12-3, the 3 games they lost were all the second game of a back-to-back. The three losses were to to Dallas by 1 (if Beal had made a clean shot they would have won), San Antonio in overtime, and Phoenix which was the only one that wasn't close. And they've beaten some pretty good teams in that stretch: Golden State (twice), Utah, the Lakers (without LeBron to be fair).  They are 2-1 against Brooklyn on the season.

I don't think they are going to win the east or anything (Philly and Brooklyn are too good), but I do think they will be competitive.  Let's enjoy this.

If they get past the playin then probably they will face Philly or Brooklyn. Probably won’t win but would be fun. They need to find a good veteran wing next year who can hit threes and play some D. That could make them a 50 win team.

Do you really expect them to make even the conference finals let alone round 2? The is a team where we seem perfectly content to watch make the playoffs every few years and then exit early. The most memorable run in recent memory was the Arenas team's first round loss to Cleveland

They’ve made the second round at least three times as I recall. Swept the heavily favored Raptors one year.

I'm not sure what else they need now. Rui plays the "not Bradley Beal" role and is showing improvement, and they've got Bertans off the bench.  Deni showed some promise and will continue to get better. They've got good size inside now with Len and Lopez. The bench has been fantastic.

I'm just enjoying watching them play now, and we'll see what happens in the playoffs.  This is the most talented, best balanced Wizards team that I can remember.

I think arenas and Kenton going at it is the most memorable, maybe wall jumping on the table.

They don’t make enough threes. That will be their downfall.

Kenton?

Most memorable game I was at was game 6 against Chicago where Jeffries stole the ball to save the game.  That came after Gil's game winner over Heinrich in game 5.  Lebron whispering in Gilbert's ear and then Gil missing the free throws is a bad memory for sure.
