Disappointing. Westbrook looks like he is in uppers. Most of the others look like they are on downers.

Did I hear Thomas Bryant dunked into the wrong net?

This is the wizards, they'll get the 4th pick in the lottery even with the worst record in the league.

Can Westbrook play LF?

Maybe the Wizards should switch to hockey so they won't have to play fourth periods.

In my limited basketball knowledge and watching games so far this season:
- Thomas Bryant shouldn't be anything more than a bench player
- they need to get Bertans far more involved in the offense, he looks lost
- Beal and Westbrook don't appear to be close to meshing

And Scott Brooks doesn’t have a clue.

Horrible loss with the Hachimora pretending he’s Bobby Hurley.

Game was lost already. Rui looked good in his first game. Beal choked in the clutch once again. Easy bucket to take the lead and lost the ball.

Edit. Embrace the Process.

Wall had 22 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds in Houston’s win tonight.

Westbrook had another triple double. 22 points. 10 rebounds. 11 assists. I believe he leads the league in assists. And the team still sucks.  The tank is on. I suppose they could have tanked just as well with Wall.  But who knows. They seem to have the right players and coaches in place.

Bryant actually was good last night, and they still lost. Sigh...

It's weird.  I look at the roster, and it looks like at least a middling team.  I think most projections had them as a playoff team in the 6-8 range, maybe just short of that.  Does getting Rui back help the rotation by sliding guys into different roles, or does it just complicate the rotation and break up the flow for the other forwards? Bertans shooting % is way off, his fouls per 36 minutes is up, but he's getting to the line at a lot higher rate.  Are they using him differently now that they have more depth?

Having Rui back helped them on offense at least.  No more Jerome Robinson and no more four guard lineups.  Brooks still seems to love the three guard lineups.  He will be fired soon.  They really have no athletic big guys which kills them on defense.  Bertans has jus been abysmal.  Looks like a very bad signing.

Longer term Rui and Deni both look like good players.  I would trade Beal for what they can get now.  Great offensively but them he shrinks at crunch time.  And little defense.  I think Deni is their best defensive player as a rookie which is really really sad.

They should win a game this year.

Good offensively but he is still terrible at defense.  He would be a good guy off the bench to provide some scoring.

Seth Curry of the Sixers tested positive one day after playing the Wizards.  No concern about the any of the Wizards catching the virus because they never got within 6 feet of Curry.

Celtics backup center Robert "Time Lord" Williams tested positive for coronavirus, requiring their starting center, Tristan Thompson, and a backup foteard who plays a lot, Grant Williams, to sit tonight. They will be playing with one regular over 6' 8", Daniel Thies. They brought up Tavko Fall from the G league team.  A lot of time they use Smart on centers, but with Kemba and the backup point guard Jeff Teague also out, I don't see that look. Probably will see a lot of Pritchard, a rookie from Indiana who is already in the rotation.
