when he was in triple double mode chasing an MVP, he was passing up good shots to get the 10th assist a lot of games. He's a different player now, but people have memories. This year, he's getting assists and counting stats, but he's just not good anymore. The advanced stats hate him, he sucks in winshares and his plus/minus is atrocious. He makes a bad wizards team a little more entertaining, so that's good, but that's about it
He did win that MVP. He is also incredibly intense on the court although that does not always carry over to defense. So that is fun to watch.  He was never a good jump shooter but now he cant get to the rim as well. Career wise he has averaged less than one assist less than John Wall who supposedly is a facilitator.  He also averages about ten rebounds a game which is needed on a team whose frontcourt sucks.
