That last minute of the second period was simply brilliant hockey...

No hats on the bed!!!!
The Isles could gloriously choke at this point, and I'd still say the last three seasons are proof positive that the Caps were absolutely insane to let go of Trotz.

I’m sure with the new schedule next year there will be some chances for you.  :hysterical:

The rat has had quite the playoffs so far...

he's a bit like Loki.  Villain turned anti-hero.  Went from outright dirty no redeeming qualities to a skilled player who still falls back into the occasional cheap shot, mostly in retaliation.  On skills alone, he's a terrific winger.  For a small guy, a great ability to hold the puck. Skates great, and some wonderful shots this playoff run.  OTOH, he'll still hold the blade of his stick too high in a scrum and will get baited into sucker retaliation.

Lots of speculation that this is the end of the line for Rask in Boston and Krejci too.

if the Islanders somehow manage to win the cup, then the Nassau Colosseum has to get the Conn Smythe trophy.

Colorado really pooped the bed.  So let's go Habs.

Just blow that god forsaken place up.

I've got a lot of good memories at that place - seeing Billy Joel twice, Motley Crue, a bunch of other bands that I can't remember, and Wayne Gretzky on a few occasions.

Yuk indeed.  They could go on a twenty-year playoff drought after this year and I wouldn't bat an eye.  No expansion team (especially a hockey team in Vegas) deserves THAT much success that quickly.  You have to suffer a few years and then get good.
