this sounds like Slate's old reverse jinx.

I just hope Marchand is careful about who he licks.  He should be sure to stick a swab up their noses first.
I think many would like to stick something up Marchand’s huge nose.

They could have just played these games in the Catskills. No one would have noticed.

That sunset in the middle of an NHL game was pretty surreal.  Or surreally pretty.

That would have meant having Jackie Mason and Billy Crystal perform during the intermissions, right?

Are there even any open resorts left in the Catskills these days?  As a kid, that was our primary vacation spot.

Lightning/Panthers playing next to Lake Okeechobee should capture Floridiana pretty well.  Put in some gators, pink flamingos, and Rascal charging stations.

maybe a Burmese Python, just to get the invasive species feel.  Between periods, they could cut open a belly and see whether it is a cow, a gator, or a panther swallowed whole.

May be a hit piece. But that doesn’t mean there is not some truth to the allegation.

ESPN will actually have to cover hockey now. Bring back Gary Thorne.

he's about the only hockey guy they have left.  when they do  the frozen 4, he does the  games.

But yes, Thorne Thorne Thorne Thorne Thorne.  No longer employed by Mr Angelos.

Ought to be Steve Levy, but he's with MNF.  They should just move McDonough back to MNF.  Levy's easily the best and most qualified hockey announcer they have.

Levy was great but Thorne is perfect for hockey.  Can we replace Pierre McGuire with Thorne?

Please don't send McDonough back to MNF or else I'll have to find something new to do instead of watching the first five minutes of that snorefest.

He must have multiple years left on this contract for them to have not bought him out yet...he can't even hold down a slot like playing sidekick to Van Pelt at midnight...

Just how bad is he?  I'd rather have Suzyn Waldman on the play by play...with nails on a chalkboard providing the color commentary...and then FP...
