Can’t imagine one worse than 2012 game 5.

As much as it hurt, it was a good learning experience for me. I didn't follow sports until 2007, so I got to watch the Nats go from trash to the postseason. I was sure they were The Team Of Destiny. Game 5 was a massive gut punch that left me in a state almost akin to grieving. At that point I realized I needed to not tie my happiness so closely to a sports team. Just a silly thing to do since all but one team end up missing the mark every year, no matter the sport.
