That’s a shame the Phillies are losing. :mg:
It's over.  That's two seasons with Realmuto and Harper.  Now they have to pay big bucks to maintain status quo.

per mlb.com, Cards clinch with win (Brewers would have with win).  Giants must win (losing 5-4 to SD).  Phils we will treat as losers so they are out. FP I think is right.  Giants must win, or else its Mil.

The top Astros BA is .300. Next is .269. Last year they led in BA, this year 10th, with a drop of 34 points.
Gee I wonder what has changed?

On the pitching side, I am not sure what is the best way to measure pitchers, but Aníbal's ERA this season is a full 2 1/2 runs higher than his career ERA.

Fitting that Taylor’s last AB as a Nat was a K

Trevor Rosenthal just sent the Giants back to San Fran in a basket.

So, looking just at WAR, Kyle Finnegan seems like the only Nat who would be in the ROY conversation, albeit way down the list? He's 7th in WAR among NL rookie pitchers.

Well, the umpire did, and the game was in SF...  That season-ending called strike 3 wasn't even close.

I'm begging for the automated strike zone.
