Perhaps, but one fact remains: Soto has a World Series ring;

So does Difo but no one would say he's better than Trout. ;)

Doolittle official now with the Reds. Thank god. I couldn't do another year of coddling him.

I keep coming back here and hoping to see a trade for Eugenio Suarez.  One nice righty power bat at a non-exorbitant prospect cost.  I'm not greedy, just needy.
Seems pretty irrelevant. WNFF declared that we only won a WS because of Adam Eaton

I think someone should set up a poll to see who is the OD starter at 3B

Kolten Wong signs with the Brewers
18 M 2 yrs with club option
way out of our price range for a luxury item.  I would rather have had La Stella at  3years $19.5MM.

One righty hitter who is intriguing to me is Renato Nunez.  1st/3rd/DH who is a Dr. Strangeglove, but has righty pop.  Maybe he's redundant of RZ, but he comes with 4 years of team control and is only 27.   Showed some really nice pop with the Os. In 2018, the last time he had 500+ innings at 3rd, he was passable defensively, but really has only DH'd or played 1st for the Os the past couple of years. I guess with Mancini and Chris Davis, and him being a super 2, they got cheap.  I'd try to bring him in as 26th guy and maybe play him occasionally against LHP in place of Schwarber.

Non-roster invitation, ST should be fun.

Hey, Anibal is unsigned too, right?

True.  I am good if we don't invite Anibal back.  I mean, I wish him the best and all, but he was terrible last "season."

Speculation out there that most teams won’t want to pitch starters more than 150 innings given no one threw near that last season. So expect the Nats to still sign a couple of cheap starters on either major or minor league deals.

Makes it sound like fedde and voth will be busy even if rotation is healthy.

New Nats closer Yuck Hand really doesn't sound like a nice guy to encounter.

Maybe Justin turner can be had since the Dodgers saved us from Yuck Bauer in the nl east?

And I wouldn't want to know what he's just been doing.

I wish Sean Doolittle well...he was instrumental in our success and in our 2019 WS Championship...
