According to Heyman, Nats are a player for Hand now. The question is money (obviously).

I really don't see how they can make this move, regardless of how good of a fit he is.
Good to hear we are pursuing him. I am probably off the beaten path, but I prefer Colome. Either way, a closer to lead the pen is now our biggest glaring weakness, unless you are in the camp that Kieboom and or Garcia cannot fill third. I believe we are at 184 million, which has us about 26 million below the cap. I am hopeful we can get a closer and someone of the Lastrella/turner/wong or heck even Marwin Gonzales ilk. I know most everyone is happy with Fedde or Ross in that fifth position, but man 👨 would love one more arm for the rotation as well. Would I be satisfied if we just got a closer? Probably. As someone often mentions we can see if kieboom or Garcia performs or if our rotation has aged out and make decisions at the trade deadline.
