This will be Braymer's first career MLB start, a milestone which really says more about this team than Braymer. Braymer had 52 starts in the minors and 4 in college.

Chisholm is the only Bahamian currently playing in MLB, and eighth overall. All were from Nassau.

For the last WBC, the Puerto Rican team went blond. I don't think the Venezolanos are meant to follow suit.

Disinterested means unbiased, FP. It's not a smartypants way of saying uninterested. Pet peeve of mine.

Though perhaps FP unintentionally got it right, and meant he was disinterested in the playoffs because his team wasn't going to be in them.
