He spread it in the locker room prior to the game and dugout the game.  They were all exposed before that.  Still dumb though. And we have another super spreader event!

So Cash doesnt have the worst decision of the night
so sick that he's next to Roberts.  Isn't Roberts < 5 years from his lymphoma diagnosis?

Edit - checked wiki - 10 years.

then there's this:
Quote
Roberts called Dodgers head athletic trainer Neil Rampe, who called Dr. John Plosay, one of the team’s physicians. The manager was told his cancer history would not increase his risk for severe illness from COVID-19, Roberts’ nine cancer-free annual PET scans since 2012 and his excellent overall health working in his favor.

“I asked [the doctor] if I were to go back, does that put me in any different [risk] category, and he said absolutely not,” Roberts said. “He didn’t really give me any details, and I didn’t really ask.”

One would think that the “absolutely not“ reply by the doctor was conditioned by the rigorously strict protocols promised by MLB — whose track record as far as priorities would not have lent confidence

The Turner thing really bugs me.   Sure, it's a once in a lifetime celebrations, but how many regular people missed once in a lifetime graduations, weddings, other things.   That's just an awful message, and I hope he gets roasted and fined or suspended for being a selfish jerk.

People literally couldn’t go to a close friend or family member’s funeral. You tell him no in no uncertain terms, and then if he takes it beyond that, you have security move him along and explain things

If they followed the protocols they followed during the year the game would have been postponed until they ensured that no one else had COVID.

At the 8th inning?  That would be pretty wild.

The game would have been postponed once the first test result came in the day before.

Dear Tampa,

We are sorry that you lost, but Los Angeles has given you a delightful consolation prize. Not all of you will receive but for those lucky few, you get COVID! Treat this just like Justin Turner; go hug a friend, hug a neighbor, and lick randos on the subway. That way, it can be the gift that keeps on giving!

Your friend always,

Rob Manfred

PS If you see my spine, can you please return it? I lost it somewhere around July 24th and just can't find it anywhere!

There seems to be conflicting reports of whether it was positive or inconclusive.  Or is the inconclusive just pure bs cya?

According to this they found out about the Monday sample in the second inning. The Tuesday sample came back later in the game. It’s unclear why they didn’t have the Monday results before the game. I believe that is how it’s supposed to work.
