It's been a year since my last Doritos locos taco.  I'm looking forward to it.

Ditto!

Won't you pay more for gas for the car than the taco is worth?

Not clear why they are taking Loup out. If Taylor gets on, Betts is a much better hitter against righties.

The ratings for sports on American TV are tanking everywhere, except for the MLB regular season. NFL, NBA, golf, tennis, all are way down. The World Series brings MLB back in line with a national trend.

One theory is that watching sports is a habit, and during strange times habits are broken.

Three things IMHO:
1. Games aren't as enjoyable without live fans
2. Way more streaming options now
3. Younger audiences aren't as into sports and would rather play video games

1. Abbreviated seasons
2. No fans
3. Introduction of politics into sports.

I'm not convinced there are fewer people watching sports in total.  They don't really count those streaming as I recall.  Not totally sure about that.  Also you had the four major sports competing against each other all at one time along with Golf, NASCAR, etc.  The football ratings beginning after the World Series is over versus those of previous years will be a better indicator.  There was nothing for months and then everything at one time.

The pervasive uncertainty about everything during these times can't be discounted as a reason for decline in viewership. One day just blending into the next. Difficult for many, I think, to look forward to things with the same enthusiasm they once had.

Good news is this malaise is reversible. Hopefully, sooner than later.

Replay fails again.  Apparently a runner getting put in a bear hug, pulled off the base and to the ground, and then ruled out on the tag is not reviewable.

Either allow common sense reviews, or don't allow any reviews.

AJ Preller is an Awesome Winner, edition #36551:

2/3 of the outfield AJ, the genius Padres GM for the last 6 years, dumped after last year, is now starting in a World Series his team isn't playing in.

There was too much momentum from the runner not staying on the bag that it forced the infielder off his feet as well.

Maybe it was the runner's momentum.  Maybe the infielder intentionally wrapped his arms around the runner and pulled him off the bag.  Looked like the later to me.  My point was that if you're going to implement replay, either allow common sense replays or just get rid of it entirely.

I hear ya.  But replays are suppose to be evidence when circumstances are clear.  This one brought up many questions due to the runner's momentum.
