White Sox comeback terminated by an umpire by calling two strikes on the last batter that weren't close.

Minutes earlier, Giants eliminated by umpire on a called strike three that wasn't even close.

It's not that hard.  Just freaking terrible.  It's hard to take them seriously as a profession when Joe West remains employed.

Yay!!! My grandson is 6 and chooses to watch baseball over basketball and football now and he loves his fish! Knows all the players and their walk up music and I cannot tell you all how thrilled this makes me, he legit loves baseball!!! Gives me hope when all o ever hear is it’s a dying sport.
Much better choice than Atlanta.

Phillies needed to finish 2-8 to make the playoffs. They finished 1-7

good for your grandson!  Good to see you back!  I'll be really curious to see if a few years of success can build a fanbase. Until Fernandez died, I thought they were close.  Don't tell your grandson about your Nats fandom

Oh he totally knows, he calls me to trash talk before games lol! He does the same before the Dolphins play the Pats, our only shared team is the Seminoles :(

The ABC games caught me by surprise. I think the last time they were on ABC Howard Cosell was on the broadcasts.

Natalie.  Her old man is dead.  It’s not clear you have kept up with things.

I love hating on the Astros...if we can't beat up on those leg-humpers, hopefully Minny will.

My first MLB game was at Yankee Stadium that year.  My grandfather wore a suit and a fedora, as one did if you were of that generation.  There was a dude with a huge afro and a tank top that read "freakin' A" in the next row

Oakland's Park already had half their seats under tarps before the pandemic...they were prescient indeed...
