He's simply not a major league starting pitcher. Wouldn't be an issue if certain others weren't so injury prone.

Remember when Martinez wouldn't let a guy like Hellickson go through the line-up more than twice even when he was apparently pitching well? And was accused of Joe Maddon-esque overmanaging? That Davey might be of use around now with this pitching staff.

Well he did take him out. With a 5-2 lead. Suero gave up the HR.
